The Trauma and Emergency Care Unit at UNTH Clinics is the first-response center for patients presenting with life-threatening, urgent, and complex injuries or medical emergencies. Our team is trained to deliver rapid stabilization, pain relief, and life-saving interventions before onward referral, admission, or surgery.
This unit functions 24/7 in collaboration with the UNTH Teaching Hospital’s main Emergency Complex and surgical units, ensuring continuity of care and zero delay in referrals.

- Road Traffic Accident (RTA) Victims
- Falls from Height or Construction Accidents
- Domestic Injuries & Assault
- Lacerations, Crush Injuries, Head Injuries
- Blunt and Penetrating Chest or Abdominal Trauma
