The Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Unit of UNTH Clinics provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and liver. We are dedicated to early detection, proper evaluation, and non-surgical treatment of digestive tract diseases. Our endoscopy suite enhances accurate diagnosis and direct visualization of internal structures—greatly improving patient outcomes.

UNTH Clinics offers diagnostic and therapeutic Upper GI Endoscopy (OGD) in a sterile, well-equipped endoscopy room operated by trained gastroenterologists.

Persistent indigestion or reflux
Upper abdominal pain or weight loss
Difficulty swallowing (Dysphagia)
Suspected peptic ulcer or bleeding
Chronic nausea and vomiting
Evaluation of iron deficiency anemia
Variceal screening in cirrhosis patients

What We Do:

Direct visualization of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum
Biopsy for Helicobacter pylori or suspected cancer
Banding of varices (for bleeding prevention)
Polyp detection and monitoring
Foreign body removal (on emergency basis)

High-definition fiber-optic endoscope
Biopsy tools, cautery-capable scope heads
Oxygen monitoring and resuscitation equipment

Preparation & Safety

Fasting for 6–8 hours before procedure
Optional conscious sedation available
Post-procedure monitoring and light recovery

Reporting
